Release notes — what’s new, what’s fixed, what changed.

0.4.4

24 September 2026

Fixed

  • Clips from production poly WAV recordings that sometimes appeared empty now show their waveform.
  • The installer now runs on Intel Macs as well as Apple Silicon.

Changed

  • The track list now shows only audio tracks — the ones Live Waveforms can draw. Tracks that are inactive or have no clips yet are labelled.

0.4.3

12 September 2026

Changed

  • The bundled Kaizen Overlay releases graphics resources when the waveform layer is hidden and keeps shared image resources at a bounded size.
  • The footer now reports the renderer actually in use: Metal, OpenGL fallback or offline.
  • The AAX release is Universal for Apple Silicon and Intel, self-contained, signed and notarized for macOS 12 or later.

0.4.0

4 September 2026

Fixed

  • Waveforms, clip boundaries and fades now reach the shared overlay reliably.

Changed

  • Live Waveforms now draws through the shared Kaizen Overlay app: one click-through frame for the whole range and one Accessibility permission per Mac.
  • The overlay follows the DAW video window, including full-screen video, or can be placed manually and shared with other Kaizen Audio picture plug-ins.

0.3.9

2 September 2026

Fixed

  • Clips are matched to their audio by Pro Tools UMID, so different files with the same name and high channels of production-sound poly files resolve correctly.

Changed

  • The waveform-height control follows the same complete nine-step scale as Pro Tools.
